WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- As a Quality Control Specialist I, you are a critical gatekeeper of safety and compliance. Your work ensures that every component leaving the facility meets federal regulations and company standards, supporting the performance of aircraft worldwide. You will:
- Ensure no defective, unserviceable, or unairworthy parts are used in components or articles manufactured by the facility.
- Verify that all fabricated parts are labeled and identified properly.
- Inspect work to confirm it complies with approved data and regulatory standards.
- Visually inspect for external or hidden damage and verify correct quantities and contents.
- Confirm that tags, certifications, and paperwork meet applicable federal regulations.
- Complete documentation accurately in accordance with the PMA manual and departmental procedures.
- Verify that all materials are properly packed, labeled, and stored.
- Review equipment re-qualifications, calibrations, and maintenance records.
- Escalate quality issues to management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Manager of Parts and Materials.
WHAT YOU BRING:

- Bring 2 years of experience in quality support or inspection in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Possess a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a solid understanding of quality standards and inventory control.
- Enjoy dynamic projects that require flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving.
- Can build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
- Take pride in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and safety in all aspects of your work.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.
- Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
