Our client, a well‑established law firm with offices across the Mid‑Atlantic, is seeking a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney (7 years) to join their Litigation Defense and Business Law practice. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced attorney who can independently manage a caseload while contributing to a collaborative, growth‑oriented team.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate has a solid background in insurance defense litigation, strong case‑handling skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a supportive team environment. Location
- Sewell, NJ (preferred)
- Philadelphia, PA (optional)
- Hybrid/Remote flexibility available based on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
- Contribute to case strategy and litigation planning.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Licensed to practice in New Jersey or Pennsylvania (NJ strongly preferred).
- Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑focused environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client‑management skills.
