We’re partnering with a well-established financial institution seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys both business development and credit analysis.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, manage, and grow a commercial loan portfolio
- Structure, underwrite, and close commercial, consumer, residential, and SBA loans
- Analyze financials and assess risk to ensure sound lending decisions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive new business and retain existing customers
- Partner with internal teams to deliver a high level of service and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations (including BSA)
- Identify and manage problem loans and follow through on resolution strategies
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of commercial lending experience
- Formal credit training and strong underwriting skills
- Solid understanding of banking products, services, and lending regulations
- Proven ability to develop business and meet production goals
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
