About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to join our growing team. This role requires exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, overseas vendors, and factory partners to ensure seamless product development from concept through production.


As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned categories, ensuring timely execution, product integrity, and alignment with design and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day product lifecycle for assigned categories, overseeing development from fabric sourcing and style creation through final production handoff.
  • Partner closely with Design teams to understand seasonal product and program objectives, ensuring accurate execution and a “right-first-time” development approach.
  • Source and procure all necessary raw materials, including fabrics, trims, washes, and other components required for product development and sample execution.
  • Collaborate with Technical Design teams to ensure timely delivery of specifications and accurate sample development.
  • Work alongside Sourcing teams to support and execute regional factory allocation strategies and production planning.
  • Create, maintain, and regularly update seasonal sample status reports, WIP trackers, and development calendars, providing visibility and real-time updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage daily communication with overseas factories and vendor partners regarding sample development, timelines, approvals, and production readiness.
  • Review and communicate design color comments, lab dip approvals, strike-off feedback, and material submissions to suppliers while tracking progress through completion.
  • Coordinate the receipt, review, and approval of development and final samples, ensuring all products meet design intent, quality standards, and key milestone deadlines.
  • Partner with sample rooms and factory teams to implement revisions and corrections as needed throughout the development process.
  • Organize and facilitate internal sample reviews and cross-functional meetings to gather feedback and drive timely approvals.
  • Prepare and ship final approved samples to customers and key accounts for presentation and consideration.
  • Identify potential development challenges proactively and collaborate with internal and external partners to implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Product Development, Product Management, Merchandising, Production, or a related field within the apparel, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and cultures.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and product lifecycle management systems is a plus.
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring in-office collaboration four (4) days per week. Team members may work remotely on Fridays.
