We're looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to lead the architecture and integration of advanced propulsion systems including turbofan, turboshaft, turboprop, and electric engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture and integration for complex aerospace propulsion systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in aerodynamics, materials, controls, and systems engineering.
- Conduct simulations and testing to validate engine performance and reliability.
- Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in electric propulsion and fuel cell systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in propulsion system design and integration.
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials.
- Proficiency in CAD (CATIA, NX), simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink), and MBSE (SysML).
- Experience with FAA/EASA certification standards and safety-critical systems (DO-178C, ARP4754A).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
