We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join a leading manufacturing team supporting heavy equipment assembly and new product introduction (NPI). This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, design support, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing and assembly operations by resolving engineering-related issues on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Design teams to drive issue resolution.
- Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical assembly and fabrication challenges.
- Update engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Support prototype builds, pilot production, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Create engineering deviations and assist with product/process improvements.
- Participate in quality reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional meetings.
- Perform product inspections, audits, and documentation when required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of engineering or manufacturing experience (internships/projects are welcome).
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with manufacturing or machine assembly environments.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter, VisView, Power BI, Tableau, or MES systems is a plus.
- Exposure to BOM management, process improvement, or NPI activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Salary : $50,000 - $54,000
