About us
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, including scheduling, customer service, and employee management. The Service Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and ensure that all service processes and goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of professionals.
Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall production of timely vehicle repairs and serves as the main support for Service Advisors and Auto Technicians.
- Hire, train and motivate employees in the Service Department.
- Solves problems and meets predetermined services and sales objectives.
- Directly supervises service department personnel; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ensures proper processes are executed, up-sell work that generates revenue, communicate clearly with customers, explains vehicle maintenance services as well as auto repair, develops estimates and quotes, focuses on customer satisfaction.
- Generates repeat customers and provides resolutions of customer complaints.
- Creates work schedules and maintains proper accounting of Service Technicians' productivity.
- Acts as lead liaison from the Service Department to all other dealership departments.
- Ensures a safe working environment.
- Ensures that equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
Automotive Service Manager Requirements:
- Must have Automotive Service Manager experience
- Automotive dealership experience / shop management experience
- Strong training, motivational and leadership skills
- Track record of success and integrity
- Solid administrative ability
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
