Position Overview
We are seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our crew as Fence Erectors for a seasonal project located in Eastern Oregon. This position involves demanding physical labor in rugged outdoor conditions, including replacing and removing existing fence lines. Key Responsibilities
- Remove old fencing materials safely and efficiently
- Install and rebuild fence lines according to project specifications
- Carry materials, posts, tools, and equipment over uneven terrain
- Use hand tools and power tools properly and safely
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Follow safety guidelines and crew leader instructions at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to perform hard physical labor for extended periods
- Must be able to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials repeatedly
- Comfortable working in remote forest environments
- Ability to walk, bend, dig, climb, and stand for long hours
- Strong work ethic and willingness to push through tough days
Qualifications
- Previous fencing, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full project season
- Valid driver’s license preferred
