Skilled Construction Laborer
L & S Contracting is looking for a dependable, skilled construction laborer who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with a company that values professionalism, reliability, and craftsmanship.
We perform a wide variety of residential and commercial projects, so no two days are the same. We’re looking for someone who has experience across multiple trades, can work independently, solve problems on the job, and maintain high standards without constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Drywall hanging, finishing, repairs, and patchwork
- Interior and exterior painting
- Tile installation (floors, backsplashes, showers, etc.)
- Framing and general carpentry
- Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, hardwood, and trim work)
- Demolition and job site preparation
- Installation of doors, trim, cabinets, and fixtures
- Read measurements and perform accurate layout work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality
Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on construction experience preferred
- Experience in multiple trades is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- Must have basic hand tools
