What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Crew Member position at L & S Commercial Cleaning?
Looking to hire part time for MWTH start at 5:30 pm about 5-6 hr each shift and Saturday start in the morning.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring they are hygienic at all times.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in designated areas efficiently and responsibly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure clarity and shine.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to ensure prompt resolution.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
- Good communication skills for teamwork and safety reporting.
- Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
