Job Summary
The Receiving Clerk will provide administrative support by preparing reports, handling information requests, maintaining safety training records, and performing clerical functions such as filing, receiving visitors, scanning documents, and updating purchase orders.
Schedule: M-F, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supervision:
This position is frequently supervised by the Receiving or Inbound Supervisor
Qualifications:
This position requires moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature, including lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
The Receiving Clerk will provide administrative support by preparing reports, handling information requests, maintaining safety training records, and performing clerical functions such as filing, receiving visitors, scanning documents, and updating purchase orders.
Schedule: M-F, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Communicate with other warehouse supervisors on daily task or issues that may surface throughout the work day
- Ensure company policies are being enforced
- Answer company phone and take delivery appointments when needed
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
- Communicate with buyers regarding any discrepancies in the purchase orders
- Communicate with truck unloader regarding any appointment changes
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures, and report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets, etc.
- Data entry
- Excel skills
- Safety
- Time management
- Willingness to learn computerized scanning device
