Full-Time Janitorial Employee (1st Shift: 7 AM – 3 PM)
Location: Saukville
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Reports To: Site Supervisor / Operations Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Employee to join our team at a food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services while ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, offices, breakrooms, locker rooms, and production areas.
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
· Empty trash/recycling and restock supplies.
· Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues.
· Follow sanitation and safety procedures specific to food manufacturing facilities.
· Complete cleaning logs/checklists accurately.
· Provide excellent customer service when interacting with plant staff.
Job Requirements
· Janitorial or custodial experience preferred (food industry a plus).
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance required.
· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
· Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety guidelines (training provided).
