What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Support Worker position at L. Peterson?
We're looking for an engaging, hands-on person to support a teenage girl with autism, intellectual disabilities and other special needs out and about in the community between approximately 10a and 6p on Saturdays. This is a long-term W-2 position.
Our girl is friendly, easy-going and generally happy. You will provide transportation in your personal vehicle and hands-on support during fitness classes, trips to the library, etc. CPR and First Aid certifications are required and a background check will be run as part of the hiring process. Previous experience supporting teens with IdD or autism preferred.
$32/hr plus mileage reimbursement ($0. 70/mile) and PTO (after 90 days). If interested, please reply with a description of your relevant experience and a confirmation that you will be available most Saturdays for at least 6 hrs.
