We’re hiring a Fabrication Support Specialist to help keep production moving, support our operators, and ensure parts flow smoothly through the shop. This is a hands‑on role that plays an important part in maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the shop.

Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: Overtime as needed
- Enjoy three‑day weekends when overtime isn’t required
Position Summary
The Fabrication Support Specialist provides hands‑on support across fabrication, welding, production, laser cutting, forming, and quality control. This role assists with material preparation, basic welding and fabrication tasks, part finishing, operator support, and quality checks to keep production flowing efficiently. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, learning new processes, and contributing to multiple areas of the shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, deburring, and part preparation
- Support machine operators with setups, staging materials, and part verification
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as assigned
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Conduct basic quality checks using measurement tools and document results
- Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) preparation and part verification
- Package items for shipping
- Move materials and parts throughout the shop to support workflow
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic welding or fabrication experience (school or prior work)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Safety‑minded with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Preferred
- Experience in a fabrication or welding shop
- Familiarity with common fabrication tools such as saws, grinders, sanders, or similar shop equipment
- Basic understanding of quality checks or inspection processes
- Forklift and overhead hoist experience (or willingness to be trained)
