Summary
Reporting to the Chief Analytics Officer, this full-time, exempt role is responsible for providing expert consultation and serving as a business partner with lines of business for the financial systems. This role includes development and testing of systems, compliance with policy for system security, sharing technical skills, and applying analytical thinking to provide ongoing innovation, improvement and value to stakeholders.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
1. Collaborates with lines of business to identify areas for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiencies.
2. Conducts research and identifies areas for process improvements, cost savings, efficiencies and communicates trends, patterns and insights that can help improve business decisions.
3. Designs, develops, tests, and implements updates to the financial systems to implement process improvements and efficiencies. This includes utilizing the Symitar PowerOn programming script and other basic scripting languages within the business systems.
4. Ensures application functionality and efficiency through adequate documentation and active collaboration with IT Application Support, Infrastructure, and Digital Banking teams.
5. Assists with strategic third-party implementation projects starting with the evaluation to ensure the solution aligns with the organization’s goals through implementation and ongoing maintenance.

7. Builds vendor relationships representing the Credit Union and gains understanding of vendor services and benefits that are available.
8. Assists with Audit, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning as directed for IT.
9. Presents reports and other presentations periodically to the Leadership Team and any Stakeholders.
Qualifications and Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related or similar experience required.
• Strong analytical, process mapping, and problem-solving skills.
