Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a CDL-A OTR (Over the Road) Driver, specializing in FedEx to FedEx freight routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate tractor-trailers across extensive routes.
- Terminal to terminal drop and hood, delivering freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all federal and state regulations.
- 100% Drop and Hook operation
- All trucks are 2024-2026 equipped with automatic transmission
- Weekly pay (Friday) W-2 only
- Earn .04-.08cpm above industry standard
- Weekly home time (4-7 days out) (1-2 days home)
- Steady and consistent work all year round

- Teams are welcome or driver must be willing to team

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road routes, FedEx to FedEx deliveries, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of dry van trailers and double trailer combination
- Maintain electronic logs of driving hours, and vehicle pre and post trip inspection records in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route changes or address delivery issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with no more than two tickets in past three years
- Must be willing to get double/triples endorsement
- Valid DOT medical card
- No DUI and reckless driving
- Able to pass Road and Drug test
- One year of commercial truck driving experience with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for long-distance OTR routes
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and safety protocols for commercial trucking
