Role Description:
This is a full- or part-time on-site position for a Wind & Brass Instrument Repair Technician.
Primary responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing brass and woodwind instruments, familiarizing oneself with various manufacturers’ parts, performing equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting complex issues.
This includes routine maintenance and chemical cleans on brass instruments, as well as playing condition repairs, repads and overhauls on wind instruments.
Additional duties include maintaining an efficient project workflow and a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining wind and/or brass instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Physical ability to lift heavy instruments, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks requiring dexterity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively
- A passion for music and knowledge of brass and woodwind instruments is highly valued
- Previous industry experience or relevant certification is a strong advantage
