Electrical Estimator

We’re expanding our operations and launching a new electrical division within a thriving commercial HVAC contracting company — and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Commercial Estimator to join our team.

As part of this exciting new department, you’ll play a key role in shaping our estimating processes, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of every bid we submit.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare precise electrical cost estimates
• Perform detailed cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment
• Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure project accuracy and profitability
• Maintain compliance with local building codes, NEC standards, and safety regulations
• Develop and manage multiple bids and proposals simultaneously

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical estimating experience
• Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, or similar)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction documents
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes
• Must pass a federal background check, have a clean MVR, and pass a drug screen
