Join a well-respected Austin engineering firm and lead MEP commissioning projects. This is a hands-on role for experienced commissioning professionals — an engineering degree is preferred but not required.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead commissioning for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on new construction, renovations, and retro-commissioning projects.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and final performance tests.
- Conduct site visits, issue detailed reports, and maintain Master Deficiency Logs.
- Collaborate with owners, design teams, contractors, and project managers.
- Assist with department training, process improvements, and troubleshooting MEP systems.
What You Bring:
- 3 years of commissioning experience.
- Commissioning certifications preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems; electrical experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid), and commissioning tools (CxAlloy, Bluebeam).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
