Duties
- Supervise and mentor a team of peer support specialists and BHT's, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance service quality.
- Coordinate and oversee peer support sessions, ensuring they align with best practices in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral health.
- Monitor client progress through documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate peer support services into broader treatment plans and community outreach efforts.
- Respond to urgent situations with effective crisis management skills, providing immediate support or escalation as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, or behavioral health settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients empathetically while guiding peer specialists effectively.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of community resources and experience working within diverse populations is a plus.
