What You’ll Do

  • Build professional, peer-based relationships rooted in mutual respect, hope, equality, personal responsibility, and self-determination.
  • Use lived experience appropriately and professionally to offer encouragement, reduce stigma, and model recovery.

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational policy, payer requirements, CARF standards, CSTAR expectations, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Promote client rights, dignity, choice, voice, safety, and participation in services.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement activities.
  • Represent LIV Recovery’s mission, values, Compliance Plan, and Standards of Conduct in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Peer Support Training Certificate required unless the candidate is a graduate in the field of mental health studies.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
  • Lived experience with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and/or homelessness.
  • Minimum of one year in continuous recovery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
