Job Overview

We are L&F UNIVERSAL GOODS, a growing food and beverage distribution company serving customers throughout Miami, Florida. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Warehouse Receiver & Manager to oversee our daily warehouse operations and supervise our warehouse team.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse and leadership experience, strong technology skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires operating forklifts and box trucks, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate digital records, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean, and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the warehouse each day.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations and supervise the warehouse team.
• Assign duties and ensure all responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
• Receive incoming deliveries and verify products and quantities.
• Help load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Operate company box trucks when needed.
• Help pick, organize, and build customer orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse floor.
• Ensure products are stored in their proper locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, and order records using spreadsheets and web-based applications.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and similar programs to complete daily tasks and reports.
• Troubleshoot basic technology, software, and equipment issues as needed.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products to management.
• Follow all company procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Previous supervisory or warehouse management experience is preferred.
• Strong technology and computer skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and similar web-based applications is required.
• Must be comfortable learning new software and troubleshooting basic technology issues.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
• Must be comfortable operating box trucks.
• Must speak both English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and move products throughout the workday.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
