The position will respond to Hospital and community-based service requests from the nursing staff, the case managers, the social service workers, hospitalists, or private attending physicians practices. Education: ▪ Required: High school diploma or equivalent ▪ Preferred: Associate's Degree Experience: ▪ Preferred: One year hospital and/or healthcare experience Skills: ▪ Good communication skills – Ability to communicate effectively in written format and/or oral presentations ▪ Strong analytical & problem solving skills; semi-independent in decision making ▪ Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment ▪ Exhibit initiative, responsibility & flexibility ▪ Must be able to initiate and understand research related to projects ▪ Learn and appropriately utilize all required computer applications, including but not limited to E-mail, Windows-based or Microsoft programs ▪ Ability to write effective documentation for processes and procedures. ▪ Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
