Position Overview

The Division Manager provides overall leadership for our Tampa Bay division, ensuring operational excellence while driving growth through sales and business development. This is a strategic hybrid role that requires versatility, initiative, and a strong ability to balance internal management with external client engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all local operations, reporting directly to the parent company.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and local stakeholders.
  • Proactively engage with clients through visits, meetings, and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement goals for the division in collaboration with senior management.
  • Drive market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and achieve sales objectives.
  • Support local sales and project-related discussions with the parent company’s sales and estimating teams.
  • Represent the company at local events, industry meetings, and congresses.
  • Manage recruitment, staffing, and personnel performance in collaboration with HR.
  • Oversee project planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Step into project management responsibilities when required.


Key Success Factor

This position requires a strategic leader who can wear multiple hats: a strong business developer, a trusted client representative, and an effective manager of people and operations.


Expectations

  • 2–3 days per week on the road for customer visits.
  • 2–3 days per week in the office for management and business development planning.
  • Mandatory presence every morning at shop opening (6:30 AM) to ensure smooth operations.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or division/branch management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a lean team.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to balance client-facing responsibilities with internal operational management.
  • Experience in construction, steel, or related industries is an asset.
