Mill Operator
3rd Shift, 10:30PM-7:00AM, Sunday - Thursday
Hourly rate $18.50 - $21.00 DOE (plus 20% shift differential)
Ability to work overtime during the week and Saturdays as needed

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Set up and operate milling machines to mill surfaces on metal work pieces.
JOB DUTIES:
- Verify that lot cards have all previous operations signed off.
- Select and load cutters in spindle collet.
- Sets cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut.
- Verifies dimensions of milled work pieces using various measuring instruments.
- Bring gondolas from rack to machine and wash.
- Operate manual and automatic mills.
- Maintains proper fluid levels and coolant flow.
- Ensure work is completed according to schedule.
- Cleans machine daily and keeps work area orderly.
- Performs preventative maintenance as required.
- Perform any other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management personnel.

EDUCATION &/ OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Strong math and mechanical aptitude.
- Able to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
- Prior CNC Milling experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and “G code” preferred.
- Ability to understand and carry out routine written and oral instructions and to work with little or no supervision.
- Given proper instruction, ability to properly use the required inspection tools and procedures.
- Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
- Given proper instruction, ability to operate fork truck.
