POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Fleet Maintenance & Diesel Technician to maintain and repair a mixed fleet of trucks and equipment. This includes F-150s, GM 1500–3500 series, Duramax and Cummins Diesel pickups, light-duty service trucks, 305-size mini excavators, skid steers, trailers, and general fleet equipment. Small Engines.
The ideal candidate is efficient, reliable, shows up on time, and can stay productive without constant supervision.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fleet Vehicle Repair & Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair gas and diesel pickups (Ford, GM, Ram)
- Service and repair Duramax, and Cummins engines
- Perform brake jobs, suspension repairs, steering repairs, cooling system repairs
- Remove and install transmissions, clutches, fuel system components, etc.
Heavy/Compact Equipment
- Perform maintenance and repairs on skid steers, compact track loaders, and mini excavators (e.g., CAT 305 class)
- PM services, bushings, pins, starters, alternators, hydraulic leaks, filters, etc.
- Basic hydraulic troubleshooting
General Fleet Maintenance
- PM services on all fleet units
- Electrical diagnostics (batteries, alternators, relays, wiring issues)
- DOT-style inspections, safety checks, and fleet readiness
Shop Responsibilities
- Move to the next job when waiting on parts — no downtime
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety rules, torque specs, and repair procedures
- Communicate clearly with the foreman about parts or issues
- Maintain consistent, steady productivity

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years experience in automotive or diesel repair (fleet experience preferred)
- Ability to diagnose and repair major components independently
- Must know how to safely use shop lifts, jacks, torque tools, diagnostic equipment
- Must be able to work efficiently without babysitting
- Must arrive by 7:00 AM every day — reliability is mandatory
- Must have basic hand tools (shop provides specialty tools)
- Valid driver’s license required
- No drama, no excessive phone use, no hiding in the shop — productivity expected
