Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains communication with Head Custodian and follows Chain of Command.
- Perform regular custodial duties in assigned areas of building.
- Assists in removing snow from assigned entryways.
- Restocks supplies in assigned areas and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data.
- Maintains custodial equipment in good working condition.
- Assists visiting public, utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment.
- Project a positive image of the school district while engaging with the public, students and staff in a respectful, proper and helpful manner.
- Ensure outside doors and windows are locked for security during and after each day.
- Performs ongoing preventative maintenance of unit ventilators, such as filter changes, cleaning, etc.
- Performs replacement of burned-out lighting, minor plumbing repairs, replacement of ceiling tiles, and other items in the assigned area.
- Performs restorative cleaning such as carpet extraction, stripping and refinishing tiled floors, cleaning and moving furniture, full restroom cleaning and disinfecting.
- And all other duties assigned by the supervisor for Custodial Services / Director for Operations.

Salary : $16 - $20
