L’Abbate, Balkan, Colavita & Contini, LLP (LBC&C) is seeking experienced attorneys for our Melville, New York office. We offer both full-time and part-time arrangements to qualified attorney candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Handle litigation matters from the inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions and other litigation documents.
- Manage discovery, including document review and written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Appear in court for conferences and motions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel and the court.
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Member in good standing with the New York Bar.
- 3 to 10 years of litigation experience. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation
- $95,000–$150,000 per year for full-time attorneys, depending on experience and qualifications.
- $70.00-$85.00 per hour for part-time attorneys, depending on experience and qualifications.
