*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served promptly. *Responsibilities* - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to recipes - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef when ingredients are running low *Requirements* - Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a restaurant or similar environment - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks - Familiarity with industry best practices - Culinary school diploma is a plus but not required
