What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at L.A. Prep Inc.?
About L.A. Prep Inc.
L.A. Prep Inc. is a premier partner to the automotive industry, providing an end-to-end suite of specialized services including secure transport, professional vehicle preparation (detailing, paint, and bodywork), and vehicle storage. From supporting high-profile media launches and commercial shoots to managing elite private collections, we ensure that every vehicle under our care is "camera-ready" and delivered with precision. We are looking for a Business Development leader who can connect our world-class facilities and logistics expertise with the brands and individuals who need them most.
The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you won’t just be selling a service; you’ll be selling peace of mind. You will identify and secure new business opportunities with OEM marketing teams, production houses, and automotive event planners.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B Relationship Management: Build and maintain partnerships with automotive manufacturers (OEMs), agencies, and event coordinators for vehicle launches and press fleets.
- Service Integration: Educate clients on our "one-stop-shop" value proposition—demonstrating how combining transport, prep, and storage saves them time and reduces risk.
- Revenue Growth: Identify under-served and develop outreach strategies to capture them.
- Project Scoping: Work with our shop and account teams to provide accurate quotes for complex prep-and-transport projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5 years in Sales or Business Development, preferably within automotive logistics, specialized detailing, or fleet management.
- The Network: An existing rolodex of contacts in the automotive scene or with major OEM marketing departments is a massive plus.
- Operational Savvy: An understanding of the logistics involved in moving high-value assets and the technical side of vehicle reconditioning (paint/body/detail).
- Precision & Detail: In our world, every detail matters. You must reflect that same attention to detail in your proposals and client management.
Why L.A. Prep Inc.?
- Niche Market Leadership: Work with some of the rarest and most exciting vehicles in the world.
- End-to-End Solutions: Unlike standard transport companies, we offer a full-service ecosystem that makes your "sell" much more compelling.
- Competitive Package: Base salary plus, Health Insurance, and 401k
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Benefits:

Work Location: In person
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
