L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services is offering a rare opportunity for a seasoned technician to transition into a Sales Representative and Technician (Hybrid Role) in the San Diego, CA area. This unique position is predominantly focused on outside sales, capitalizing on your deep technical plumbing expertise and excellent customer service skills to secure high-value commercial contracts.

WHAT L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct sales visits to new and existing customers.
- Host and participate in Lunch and Learns.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial buildings.
- Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps.
- Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
- Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
- Proven outside sales experience with strong consultative, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred).
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and exceptional customer service skills.
- Hold a current Class C Driver's License and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- 2 years of service and repair plumbing experience REQUIRED (residential or commercial).
- Basic mechanical knowledge is needed.
- Physical Strength: Ability to frequently lift up to 100 pounds (and occasionally over 200 pounds).
L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $70,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services' compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
