WHAT L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:
- Lead and participate in the planning, estimating, and scheduling of plumbing repair projects.
- Prepare estimates by gathering blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Conduct inspections of potential projects, identify labor/material/time requirements, and compute costs.
- Oversee and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of sewer lines, valves, sump pumps, toilets, and fixtures.
- Train, guide, and provide work direction to repair team members; ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and property managers.
- Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship preferred.
- 5 years of progressively responsible plumbing experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing methods, codes, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- California Class C Driver's License required.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. with assistance; able to kneel, crouch, climb, and work in varied environments.
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and around mechanical equipment.
L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay for this position is $28/hr plus 2.5% commission on sold/approved estimates. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
