Plumbing Repair Assistant - Orange County

As a Jetting & Repair Assistant for L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Services, you will work alongside Technicians to set up job sites, assist with equipment, and ensure safe and efficient execution of plumbing and drain projects. This role is hands-on and requires physical work, attention to detail, and a professional approach when interacting with customers and property managers.WHAT SETS L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:Ride with Technicians to job sites and assist with project setup.Provide and organize necessary tools and equipment.Assist with drain cleaning, drain repairs, and commercial/residential projects.Help minimize water damage and support cleanup efforts.Remove sewer caps, drag hoses, and clear access points as needed.Maintain safe work practices and follow all company protocols.WHAT SETS YOU APART:1–3 years of related plumbing, drain cleaning, or construction experience preferred.High school diploma or GED required.Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and customer service skills.Consistently punctual and reliable. Ability to lift/move 35 lbs regularly, 100 lbs frequently, and occasionally more than 200 lbs.Comfortable working in varied environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.Willingness to adapt to schedule changes and assist in both Jetting and Repair departments as needed.L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay for this position is $21/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
