Job Title: Retail Loader/Delivery Driver
Department: Prunedale Farm & Supply
Reports to: Tina Chambers – Retail Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Payscale: $16.90 - $18.00 Per Hour
Job Summary:
The Retail Loader/Delivery Driver ensures that products and materials are stocked and organized. The Retail Loader/Delivery Driver also delivers products and orders to customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Package, crate and load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading.
• Package parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, cover or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment.
• Responsible for all lifts and checking loads for accuracy and completion.
• Loading and offloading flatbed trucks as needed.
• Forklift usage to load and unload.
• Deliver products and orders to customers.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must be able to operate a forklift and other lifting equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Forklift certification OR previous forklift experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs.
• Outside weather conditions.
• Ability to adhere to all Company Safety initiatives and requirements.
