Project Manager – Natural Gas Infrastructure
L.A. Gates Company is seeking a Project Manager with a background in natural gas infrastructure to lead and oversee projects from initial conception, the design and procurement phase, through commissioning and final turnover.
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all phases of project development and execution, including site planning, environmental permitting, engineering and design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout. This role will manage project scope and specifications, schedule, budget, contractors, consultants, permitting requirements, and client stakeholder coordination while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated project management or engineering experience in the natural gas industry (compression facility strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of site layout, environmental permitting, engineering/design, construction, and commissioning
- Strong contractor, schedule, budget, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead meetings, coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
