Position Summary:
LAFCU's Branch Member Service Representative II works under the close direction of Lead personnel in the Teller Operations area. Provides excellent member service to Members and Non-Members alike that visit one of LAFCU's branches. Provides information and promotes credit union products and services to build relationships. Processes transactions in the general areas of checking, saving, and other credit union products/services. This position is a full-time, non-exempt position and reports to the Branch Manager I/II at the employee's assigned branch location.
Job Summary / Description:
- All MSR 1 Functions.
- Provides exceptional member service while answering questions and accurately processing advanced member teller transactions.
- Performs ATM balancing and cash ordering. Balances Cash Recyclers and troubleshoot / resolve issues. Provides dual control as needed
- Provides members with basic Mobile App and Online Banking support, including registration, access, balance, transaction history, internal transfer, and view as a member.
- Strong familiarity with all credit union produces and services. Answers members questions related to membership eligibility and quotes rates for deposit and loan accounts.
- Opens Savings Certificates and other sub-accounts for existing members.
- Trouble shoots complex member inquiries related to account discrepancies, balances, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Leads / Management.
- May also serve as back-up the Contact Center "Queue 1" as needed.
Qualification & Opportunities:
- One year to three years of similar or related experience.
- Education A high school education or GED.
- Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
- Working knowledge of established teller procedures and policies. Understanding of Credit Union operations. Communicates information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. General office equipment such as calculators, computers, photocopiers, and scanners.
Salary
- The minimum and maximum base salary range for this position is $21.76 to $31.00 in California.
- The target starting base hourly rate is between $21.76 to $26.38.
- This compensation and benefits information is based on Los Angeles Federal Credit Union's good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.
- The starting base salary within the range will depend on a variety of factors that may include relevant prior experience and/or education, or skills and expertise.
