Title: Engineering Technician II - Product Engineering Support // Technician
Location: Fargo, ND - 58102
Duration: 36 Months (possible extension)
2nd Shift Hours: 2 PM – 10 PM (will require ability to train on first shift for as long as needed)
Notes: Metatarsals are required
Required Education:
- A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
- Required: Minimum one year of related experience.
- Preferred: Three or more years of related experience.
Required Skills:
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.
- Ability to maintain necessary product records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components.
- Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Electronics, Electrician/Electrical contracting, On-road/off-road Automotive repair, Communication/Networking hardware, Robotics, automation, or mechatronics, Farming.
Job Purpose:
- Test electronic products to qualify for production readiness.
Job Duties:
- Conduct manual test of electronic assemblies and document results..
- Set up lab equipment per engineering instruction.
- Perform maintenance on equipment and products.
