**Manager's Note:
- The primary duties involve processing supplier change notifications, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with Microsoft Office systems, especially Excel and PowerBI. Experience in supply chain management and working with suppliers is preferred.
- Candidates with a background in GMP or food manufacturing are preferred, but relevant manufacturing experience outside the food industry may be considered. Laboratory-based candidates with strong communication and attention to detail could also be suitable.
- Master's degree candidates are generally overqualified, but a master's holder with relevant food manufacturing experience, such as a QA technician or quality inspector, may be considered if interested and willing to accept the role.
- Relocation is possible if candidates can move at their own expense and within approximately two weeks, aligning with standard onboarding timelines. Virtual interviews are acceptable if the candidate can transition quickly.
- The team culture is supportive, with regular cross-functional interactions involving approximately 15 to 20 team members, including regulatory, microbiology, and supplier contacts.
- Supply change management experience is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
Role Overview:
This role plays a critical part in ensuring ingredient compliance, maintaining robust documentation, and driving cross‐functional alignment across the supply chain. The ideal candidate brings a background in food science or a related discipline, strong written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a regulated environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with suppliers and internal partners while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and manage supplier change notifications, including tracking status through completion
• Coordinate cross‐functional assessments of supplier changes to evaluate quality and compliance impact
• Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders
• Support implementation of downstream process changes related to approved supplier notifications
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to ensure traceability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier change notification and quality processes
• Collaborate with cross‐functional partners including R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Quality
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a regulated food or nutrition industry
• Working knowledge of ingredient quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‐functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
