Description:The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution and delivery of short-term and long-term projects to help PPG’s Industrial Coatings business achieve its growth strategy. This role reports to the Project Management Office Leader and is a member of the Industrial Coatings Strategic Marketing team. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages stakeholder relationships, and uses their strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning:o Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.o Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.o Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.2. Team Leadership:o Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.o Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.o Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.o Be an objective voice-of-the-business3. Budget Management:o Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.o Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures as necessary.4. Risk Management:o Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.o Monitor and report on project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.5. Stakeholder Communication:o Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.o Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, challenges, and changes to scope and/or timelines.o Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the project lifecycle.6.
