Handshakes Description: We are augmenting (adding) a person to help with our manufacturing. this person will help make the syrup team more efficient by helping wash bottles, measure raw ingredients, fill, cap, seal, label, box products for sale.
This person will work in productionr so they will need to follow directions accurately, label, ensure records are accurate and ensure the products we make are the best quality.
this is a part-time position that will translate into full-time for the right person. There is not a timeline for that transition.

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Syrup Maker to join our production team! You'll help create our premium small-batch chocolate and specialty sauces by following recipes, operating production equipment, and ensuring every batch meets our quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Production
- Prepare and produce small-batch syrups and sauces according to company recipes
- Accurately weigh and measure ingredients
- Operate mixers, kettles, and other production equipment safely
- Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and product consistency
- Package finished products and prepare them for labeling
- Maintain detailed production records when needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Assist with inventory of ingredients and notify management when supplies are running low
- Receive and organize ingredient deliveries
- Help test and develop new flavors when requested
- Assist other production team members during busy periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food production, manufacturing, or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Willingness to learn new production techniques and grow with the company
