Job Title: Contracts Counsel
A key role in the Legal Department, coordinating legal risk tolerances and contracting standards to support the company's strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate legal risk tolerances and contracting standards.
- Ensure contracts are in compliance with company policy and provide standard templates when applicable.
- Collaborate with business leaders and other members from all functions to anticipate and provide legal and business risk associated with projects/contracts of different scopes.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Draft, revise, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, consulting/professional services agreements, SOWs, amendments, change orders, and vendor agreements.
- Review and advise on the legal consequences of contract terms for multiple different functions.
- Identify and communicate risks appropriately to internal stakeholders and provide guidance for resolution.
- Ensure continuity and improvement in the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of contracting systems, processes, and procedures.
