REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
About the role
Manages and coordinates all warehouse activities, operations, and staff to ensure conformance to established procedures; implements practices that improve the effectiveness and financial performance of the supply chain.
Responsibilities
· Interfaces with Plant Manager to control operating costs.
· Performs quarterly and/or annual physical inventories; provides inventory reports.
· Monitors and controls the order process, ensuring efficient and adequate flow of products.
· Develops, implements, and maintains processes to reduce costs and increase customer service.
· Coordinates activities of departments to deliver efficient material movement to drive costs/inventory investment down while improving accuracy and response time to customers.
· Manages the supply chain at the plant level, interfacing with vendors, third-party providers, and the materials/supply chain system.
· Oversees scheduling of production and packaging operations, procurement of materials, inventory control, and the effective utilization of personnel within the materials/logistics group.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
Essential Skills
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
· Seven years related experience or equivalent.
· Must be proficient in MS Office.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
· Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Preferred Skills
· Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
· Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing and fast paced work environment.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
