KYU is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive the success of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of restaurant management and operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ensure that all guests receive high-quality service and have a memorable dining experience.
- Lead, train, and develop restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and other team members.
- Monitor and manage daily operational tasks, such as opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and maintaining equipment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient and smooth operations during service hours.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with financial management, including tracking sales, managing expenses, and preparing reports.
- Implement and enforce restaurant policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support marketing and promotional activities to drive guest traffic and sales.
- Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
