Job Summary
Assembler B use electrical, pneumatic and/or hand tools to assemble standardized or special cases, both having close tolerances, strict inspection and operating requirements. Use a fixture device for proper positioning of case during assembly. Responsible for following strict specifications of work order for each assigned case.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Build refrigeration display cases per customer specifications within allotted time
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Maintain accurate records/documents as required
- Always maintain a safe and clean work area
- Observe all safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Possess basic mechanical aptitude/ability to operate electrical, pneumatic and/or hand tools to assemble cases
- Possess the ability to read, write, accurately read a tape measure, and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Possess the ability to cross-train in other stations and lines as required
