Cleaning Process Technician
Location: KYOCERA Hardcoating Technologies, 220 Mark Drive, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Third Shift 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Overtime: Mandatory when scheduled based on business needs
Pay Range: $20.28 - $25.01 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential
Job Type: Full Time | Non-exempt.

Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies (KHTL) is hiring a Cleaning Process / Coating Preparation Technician to support precision manufacturing operations. This role is a strong fit for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
No prior Hardcoating experience is required. Manufacturing experience is helpful, but we will train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle, identify, and prepare incoming precision cutting tools for processing.
- Unpackage, sort, and inspect tools to ensure proper identification and readiness.
- Operate cleaning and surface preparation equipment including ultrasonic cleaning systems and wet/dry blast machines.
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical or operational issues.
- Support basic troubleshooting and equipment uptime as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Support quality standards, workflow efficiency, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
What you Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing or metal parts cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work third-shift schedule (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and mandatory overtime when scheduled
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, mist, fumes, and cleaning chemicals
- Frequent standing, walking, and material handling throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed
- Work near moving equipment and heated materials
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
