Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC circuits, control voltage systems, and central power systems.
- Rebuild pneumatic control systems and control panels, replacing obsolete components (e.g., valves, actuators, PLCs, relays, contactors, transformers).
- Install and wire equipment from blueprints and update prints as needed.
- Use testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, laptops) to diagnose issues and work with PLCs using Ladder Logic.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience with high-voltage electrical repairs.
- Licensed industrial electrician preferred.
- Mechanical maintenance or electrician certificate required.
- 1–4 years of experience troubleshooting high-voltage manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions.
- Strong working knowledge of high-voltage electricity and electrical safety.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Capable of rebuilding control panels and restoring equipment to production quickly.
- Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in non-temperature-controlled environments with exposure to noise, dirt, and fumes.
- Must follow safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
