Crystal Assembly Operator
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Prepare, assemble and inspect quartz crystals and associated materials for production, ensuring all components meet precise specifications and quality standards.
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
- Assemble a wide assortment of products/components by reading and interpreting parts lists, drawings and written and verbal instructions.
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance procedures and inspections to ensure compliance with work instructions and drawings.
- Positions components by hand or by utilizing a variety of small hand tools, such as crimpers, pliers, tweezers, or screw drivers.
- Operate simple equipment occasionally.
- Provide support across different workstations to meet productions demands.
- Tasks performed in Clean Room/Chem Lab require specific PPE to be worn properly at all times.
- Requires strong concentration and focus for repetitive tasks combined with the ability to shift attention between varied duties.
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to work within a variety of Microsoft Office products and other computer software applications
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic mathematics and the ability to read and interpret measuring devices to perform assembly tasks.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
- Prior experience in a lab or clean room, use of a microscope, and familiarity with various chemicals is a plus.
