Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Foam Insulation Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying spray foam insulation to residential and commercial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and superior thermal performance. Duties
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, masking off sections, and setting up equipment for spray foam application
- Operate spray foam insulation equipment safely and efficiently, applying foam to walls, ceilings, attics, and other designated areas
- Inspect completed work for proper coverage, thickness, and adherence to project specifications
- Maintain and troubleshoot spray equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout projects
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate installation schedules and meet deadlines
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and gloves
- Assist in the fabrication or modification of insulation components using hand tools and power tools as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or insulation installation, with knowledge of spray foam application techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools common on construction sites
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to spray foam equipment and construction sites
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work at heights or confined spaces as required
