Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and very detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. The housekeeper will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for guests through thorough cleaning and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping and mopping floors to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Clean guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces efficiently and thoroughly.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels when required.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests.
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management promptly.
- Adhere to established procedures for cleaning or janitorial tasks as required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while providing excellent service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping management preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques.
- Experience in housekeeping is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.
- Good communication skills and to report issues accurately. This position requires close attention to detail and to do the job effectively and efficiently.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 10.0 per week
