KYB is seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting production by manufacturing, modifying, and repairing precision parts that keep our equipment operating efficiently. What You'll Do

• Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill presses, and related machinery.
• Manufacture and repair components to support production and maintenance operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities and scheduled work orders.
• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to support manufacturing objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
• Become certified and maintain certification as a forklift operator.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of equivalent mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience holding tight tolerances and producing quality parts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with MP2 maintenance software is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Regular use of hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment

This position is primarily located in a manufacturing environment and involve exposure to machinery, noise, grease, dirt, and varying temperatures. Required PPE must be worn at all times.
